Dye Sublimation Printing

Grand Format Dye Sublimation is now available at Magic Vinyl Printing.  Our current capabilities are seamless dye sublimation printing up to 10' in one direction.  A variety of materials are available to print on including, but not limited to Soft Knit (Indoor Use, 300 DPI, Up to 10' Wide by Unlimited Length), Brite Screen (Indoor Use, 300 DPI, Up to 10' Wide by Unlimited Length), Poplin (Indoor Use, 300 DPI, Up to 10' Wide by Unlimited Length), Celtic Cloth (Indoor Use, 300 DPI, Up to 10' Wide by Unlimited Length), Spandex (Indoor Use, 300 DPI, Up to 10' Wide by Unlimited Length), Flag Cloth (Indoor Use, 300 DPI, Up to 10' Wide by Unlimited Length), Oxford (Indoor Use, 300 DPI, Up to 10' Wide by Unlimited Length) and Medium Pile Carpet (Indoor Use, 300 DPI, Up to 10' Wide by Unlimited Length).  Color saturation and vividness is extremely strong using this process.  The fabric substrates show no glare in strong lighting.  The grand format dye sublimation printing process involves printing the design onto special dye sublimation paper.  The special dye sublimation paper is then applied onto the fabric.  The paper and the fabric are then inserted into the grand format heat press where the ink becomes embedded into the fabric from the paper.  The biggest advantage of our grand format dye sublimation printing process is the ability to print seamlessly up to 10' in length, and to an unlimited width or vice-versa.

Dye Sub Backdrop & Banner Stands

"New at Magic Printing"

Many of our customers have asked us to come up with a banner stand that will work with our new Dye-sub foldable fabric. We are now offering a high-quality adjustable aluminum banner stand and optional carrying case. The banner stand we have selected is adjustable (height and width) up to 8' x 8'. Optional extension kit will increase the dimensions to 10' x 10'. The reason many of our customers are requesting transportable banner stands and foldable prints is due to trade shows charging loading dock fees, storage fees, and fees to transport the banner from the loading dock or storage area to your booth. These fees can add up to several hundreds of dollars. The carrying case (over the shoulder on Emily Wechter, above) shown in our photograph contains the stand AND an 8'x8' foldable Dye-sub print. This allows you to bring your banner stand and your print to your trade show booth without any additional cost. The banner stand is very easy to set up and as you can see in the photo is perfect for our foldable Dye-sub prints. Call Richard for pricing and turnaround time.

Blue Gate Theatre

Above is a 8' x 13' Dye Sublimation Backdrop printed on poplin fabric for the Blue Gate Theatre of Shipshewana, IL.  Note the vibrant color and lack of glare.

Milan

Above is a great photo of Dye-Sub Soft Knit fabric banners on display in Milan, Italy. This customer is from California. His main concern was transporting banners from California to Italy and back. We suggested Dye-Sub due to it's ability to be folded and transported in a suitcase. When taken out of the suitcase, there are no wrinkles! The banners are three 4'4"h x 13'4"w panels.

Kilo International / Fosho

This 10' x 20' backdrop was printed with our grand format dye sublimation printing process on Soft Knit. Soft Knit is especially useful because it can be folded without wrinkling. This backdrop is special because it is a seamless, one-piece, 10' x 20' piece of fabric. The large size was made possible with our grand format dye sublimation printing. The colors were vibrant and the backdrop worked great for the event.

The President's Cup

Our grand format dye sublimation printing process was put to use for each caddy's bib for The President's Cup 2007 premiere golf event.  Each bib had the player's name printed on it as well as the logo of the golf tournament and the flag of the player's country.  With our dye sublimation printing process, anything can be printed onto fabric in vivid, long-lasting colors.

Natural Life

Natural Life needed a trade show backdrop for their booth. Our grand format dye sublimation printing process was utilized to create the giant "Celtic Cloth" backdrops spanning the entire booth pictured above. The fabric is seamless because of our ability to dye sublimation print seamlessly up to 10 feet in one direction and unlimited length in the other direction. The dye sublimation printed celtic cloth fabric was easy to transport and install.

Tili Electrical Co. Ltd.

Above is a 7.5'h x 10'w dye-sublimation print on Soft Knit, the foldable fabric.  This was installed using velcro.

Above are photos of a very unique Dye-Sub application. This banner was printed like a pillowcase to fit over a frame. It is for a two-sided booth.  Each side of the banner had printing on it for its corresponding display. Each side was 56"h x 59.5"w on White-White-White fabric. The banner was on display in New York City at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF).
